Network ArchitectSnehal Patel is a network architect and SD-WAN subject matter expert at Gap Inc. He leads the design and deployment of WAN architectures at Gap Inc.’s more than 3,000 stores, data centers, corporate offices, and distribution centers. Snehal also participates in the architecture and designs Gap Inc.’s retail and e-commerce data centers. Snehal plays a key role in all the network-related POC at Gap Inc. His current focus is network design for SD-WAN, private, public and hybrid Clouds, OpenStack, and PaaS. He collaborates regularly with business partners, operations team, and network vendors,
Snehal has been at Gap Inc. for five years. Recently, he has been at the forefront of Gap Inc.’s retail and corporate SD-WAN deployment of 1400+ sites. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University with a specialization in network systems. Prior to joining Gap Inc., Snehal was a Network Operations engineer at Yahoo for about three years. Snehal regularly goes to meet-ups and tries to remain up-to-date on the latest technology trends.
