If you're looking for leadership on telecom policy, you'll go wanting during this presidential election year. That's my summary after a frustrating and mostly fruitless search for substantial telecom policy

There may be other, more pressing issues in the overall presidential debate, but with all the aides, hangers-on and wonks surrounding the campaigns, we deserve at least more than a passing nod to telecom issues.
