Dell Debuts SMB Servers, Switches: Page 2 of 2

Dell on Monday rolled out two new servers targeting small- and mid-sized businesses, and announced a trio of new switches it will deliver in the second quarter.

Dell also said Monday it would ship a new trio of switches -- the PowerConnect 2216, 2224, and 2234 -- later this spring. The switches, which can be either rack- or wall-mounted, come with 16 (2216) or 24 (2224/2234) Fast Ethernet ports. The 2234 also includes a pair of Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports for upgrading to faster switch speeds. Dell did not disclose prices of the new switches.
