Review: Point-to-Point Systems: Page 11 of 15

Latency times were determined using our SmartBits 600B. We executed the latency script starting at 50 percent utilization of the wireless link (determined by dividing the saturation point from the link determined earlier by two). The script increased the link utilization by 10 percent, recording the latency at each point, until the link was completely saturated. We used these numbers to determine the overall latency of the products, both near and at capacity.

All Network Computing product reviews are conducted by current or former IT professionals in our own Real-World Labs®, according to our own test criteria. Vendor involvement is limited to assistance in configuration and troubleshooting. Network Computing schedules reviews based solely on our editorial judgment of reader needs, and we conduct tests and publish results without vendor influence.
